I'm loathe to feed a hypochondriac, but this could be serious. There are two possible causes for tingling in the extremities, circluatory and neurological. The neurological is not likely, unless you have other neurological symptoms that you would definitely have noticed and mentioned first. The circulatory could be a symptom of any number of things, ranging from serious to annoying. You might have diabetes, heart problems, low blood pressure, or congenitally narrow blood vessels. If the tingling is only when you are still for a period of time, and does not get worse or more frequent in the future, it is probably nothign to worry about. If it does get more sever, or if it starts to happen while you are active, then you should visit a doctor.
Good luck.

RE:
What does it mean if my hands and feet tingle?
I get that tingling/numb feeling in my hands and feet after sitting down for too long. Does this happen to you? I have heard that this CAN be a sign of diabetes, is this true? Or is it normal after sitting down for a little while?
I am a little worried that I might have diabetes, as I have a few...

Hands and feet tingling can mean many things. Yes, it could be caused by diabetes, but it also could be poor circulation (caused by any number of reasons), or it could be a pinched nerve in your spine.
You said ''I get that tingling/numb feeling in my hands and feet after sitting down for too long.'' This reminds me of a Rodney Dangerfield joke. ''Doctor, doctor! I broke my arm in two places!'' to wit the doctor replies: ''Don't go to those two places!'' My point here is, if you get that tingling/numb feeling in your hands and feet after sitting down for too long, don't sit down for too long. Find some activities or some exercises to do. Get active, go for walks, that might help and it certainly won't hurt! For me the problem persisted until I went to the chiropractor. One adjustment and I was cured. Now I go about once a month. This may not work for you, everybody is different. Hope I was of some help. Feel better! L

It's from a lack of circullation. You just have to get up and move around to get the blood flowing again.

Many things could cause this - the only way to get an accurate diagnosis and begin the appropriate treatment is to see your Doctor.

Could be poor circulation. If you experience dry mouth, or constant thirst, blurred vision, along with this symtom it may be diabetes.
