Hate is a pretty strong word. I don't hate him, because I respect him as our president, but I do not agree with many, if not most, of his decisions. My personal feeling is that most of his decisions are based upon his and his constituents special interests.

I think American people hate the feeling of being betrayed, and some of them hate wasting their own soldiers' lives for what they perceive to be other people's problem. People outside of the U.S. hate his warmonger attitude, and how the whole world has become so much less safe since the launch of his so-called "war on terror".
Does anyone really believe that he sent the soldiers out with his mind on the benefit of his people? Billions of dollars have been spent on the wars, some even sent out in pallets of cash, and New Orleans amongst others didn't receive the resource they needed to save lives and now to rebuild. I don't believe any civilized person who treasure peace and harmony could hate Americans. They look to have been used by him. Remember when the country was divided on invading Afghanistan, he galvanized the country with the suffering of the women there under the Taliban's rule. Today, the culture there has not really changed and the women there are living in a war zone, and need I mention Iraq?
Do people like Bush because he has been a good leader to them, or do they like him because they are republicans and he's the leader of republicans and so they just like him by association?

I hate Bush because he's sold out the American people.
He's wasting US money and soldiers fighting a war for Israel. We have no reason to be there, save that Israel insists we must protect them. Our people should not be dying for foreign interests.
He has not only allowed, but promoted the influx of illegal immigrants into this country. They steal our jobs, turn our neighbourhoods into ghettos run by gangs, and bring deadly diseases. But Bush doesn't care, probably because he'll never have to live next door to them. He's more interested in promoting a neo-slave economy, which hurts both Americans and the illegals.
He supports legislation that infringes on the rights of American citizens, always in the name of "fighting terrorism". He doesn't care if Americans support that or not.
His No Child Left Behind legislation is ruining the education of American children. Nice idea to hold teachers accountable, but the program is so poorly planned and funded that it does more harm than good.
Bush doesn't seem to care about protecting our environment. He supports easing environmental restrictions on things like refineries and nuclear plants and won't sign on to the Kyoto treaty.
At every turn, he is supporting legislation to take away authority from the states. Personally, I want states to keep their power because I think they can better serve the needs of their residents than can a large centralised government.
He imposes his morals on the country by refusing funding for stem-cell research.
Actually, that is my biggest problem with him. It's not just imposing his morals that bothers me, though that is a symptom. Overall, he has named himself as trustee and thinks he has a right to do whatever he wants, with the excuse that it is for our own good, regardless of what the people want. He forgets he is a delegate. Exercising his own judgment would be acceptable on occasion, but he does it all the time.
And no, I'm not a liberal.

Not just because of the war but they hate him because there are some people find things very questionable about 9-11. I have to wonder that myself?
I don't hate him and I feel more sad for him because he isn't very well liked. It must be hard to be in his shoes. I don't live in the America so I wouldn't really know much about your politics.
I don't really like how the news media paints people that live in the U.S. that are originally from Iraqi that are U.S. citizens.
They are treating Muslims just as badly as they treated the Japanese because of pearl harbor. That is something I think is ethically wrong.
I certainly do not think that every muslim is out to bomb any one. I really think there is something wrong with that picture.

In some ways, yes. Some just don't want him to be the president because he believes in God. But people want him to try and make peace with the war, but that would release the Terrorists into America and they would bomb all of us to death. Hope Hillary Clinton doesn't win the election!

No, the liberal hate-Bush campaign started the second he won in 2000. Liberals believe it is their birthright to be in office and they especially hate people that take religion seriously and are willing to judge things and nations EVIL. To a liberal, we are all evil (except for rich and elite liberals) and we need them to live our lives and without them we are just a poor-hating environment-hating bunch of bigots.

No.. I personally don't like him because he's not very intelligent and I don't agree with his views on certain topics. The only smart people are the ones he's surrounded himself with, meaning that he can be easily manipulated.. Not a very good quality for a President, IMO.

well a big reason why people can't stand bush jr is because he thinks like his father bush sr that all nonchristians are unpatriotic and aren't citizens and basically that we are guests in this country even if we were born and raised here and because everything he does is destroying this country and he is so damn stubborn

I started disliking him with No Child Left Behind. Many--perhaps most--of his policies seem foolish or downright dangerous to me. The war certainly didn't help, either.
