How do I get rid of pets smell?

HOW DO I GET RID OF THE SMELL EVEN IF I WASH THE DOGS ONES A WEEK AND SPRAY EVERYWHERE,I CANT SMELL ANYTHING BUT MY FRIENDS ARE COMPLAININGS.SO HELP IF U KNOW ANYTHING THAT SMELL STRONGER THAN THE DOGS SMELL.

first, washing it too much makes it smell, wash once every two weeks with a ph nuetro shampoo, then i spray my dog once in awhile (whenever i feel like it) with doggie prefume (don't buy the expensive ones because mine only costs 3 bucks and works prefectly, and my dog smells like peach), febreeze on carpets, blankets and pillows, and once a day light one or two scented candels. and finally i have a all day air freshener........ lol sounds like much but most ppl are surprised when they see the dog in the house

If you groom your dog frequently it shouldnt smell. You dont have to actually bath it - they only recommend bathing around twice a year as it loses the natural oils in their coat that make it waterproof.

Bath him/her less, but brush him/her thoroughly at least twice a week. The dog'll get to love it to. Try to avoid him/her getting wet also as all dogs have a smell when they are wet.
