merely make it casual... You: do you recognize a thank you to bounce? If he says no: nicely then perhaps we are able to bypass the the semi-frmal at the same time and that i will coach you. :) If he says confident: nicely then coach it while we bypass to semi-formal at the same time. I would suggest a teddy bear that could "talk", or one with a card, if he's into that sort of thing. And especially if that's so, a pun on "bear" on the card.
