Hi Nicoletta, At the risk of sounnding cliched, if you really do love your boyfriend and don't want to lose him, you need to stop sleeping around. I don't know, maybe your boyfriend has been sent on a guilt trip before and would feel hypocritical to argue with you over it or maybe he doesn't have a problem with it because he's lying to you about giving up his old ways.
Either way, ye need to talk and figure if there is a future for the two of you. You need to ask yourself if you're ready to have a relationship.
Anyways, about the double standards, definately in this day and age, there are no double standards when it comes to relationships and sex. Women are just as independant and dominating as men, if not more. And that's why we can play the men at their own game! ...Within reason of course! Whatever you do, Be Happy Chick.

You really shouldn't be sleeping around. And he shouldn't eaither. So yes, it does seem to be a bit of a double standard that you get to be with anyone you want but he dosn't. Even if it seems fine it could lead to problems in the future like STDs and jealousy. If your in a relationship you should be faithful to each other. But if not, atleast be abousloutly sure the other person dosn't mind.

There's always a double standard when it comes to men, women, and sex. The more men sleep around, the more of a stud/player they are. And you know what is said about women who sleep around. I'm surprised your bf is okay with this. That's pretty rare. Many blessings.

You are obviously not happy with the relationship if you feel the need to sleep around. As for your boyfriend. He is a better man than me as there is no way I would ever be able to cope with that. There could never be any trust in the relationship.
Be happy with what you have and stop playing around. Are you sure he's as happy with it as he makes out?

You are an idiot. I guarentee your boyfriend is not OK with it no matter what he says, not if he really cares anything for you at all. I think you need to stop sleeping around before you pick up something that could change or end your life.

Only if you and he think it is?
Do you really have a healthy relationship with the BF or the sleep around partners?
If it is all about fun why have a BF in the first place?
Just have fun and protect yourself.

It's only a double standard if you are doing it but telling him he cannot...if he quit voluntarily but is kewl with you doing your thing, then there is no double standard...just an odd relationship...

I don't know how it would be a double standard. But, it is nasty. And your BF sounds like he's pretty insecure himself.
