Ok so my mom is engaged to this guy. They've been dating for nearly five months now. At first I didn't like him but now I realized that he's actually really really nice!! But his three kids are soooo rude! They are always being so wrong to my sister and me and when we try to be nice to them they just start being rude even more!! What should I do about it?

Seek help from their father. Explain what they are doing so that he can help teach them to change their behavior. In the meantime, when they are being awful, remove yourself. Don't engage them, just get lost. I don't know how old they are or what they are doing so it is hard to answer very well, but start with their dad. He knows them best and can best figure out a plan.

Try to keep in mind that this situation is difficult for them because they are being taken away from their mom (just like you are being taken away from their dad)...they see you all as intruders into their family and they are reacting badly to it. This doesn't make their behavior okay or acceptable..but that is probably what is going on. Your mom and their father have disrupted your lives and created a very difficult situation for all of you...I am so sorry that they are not putting your needs first! I would sit down with just your mom and her boyfriend and tell them EXACTLY what the situation is. (make sure his kids aren't around when you do this) Tell them that you are aware that this situation is hard on them as it is on you, but that you need help from them to remedy the situation. Your mothers boyfriend (if he is worth his salt) will make sure his children start treating you better..if he doesn't then your mother has no business creating that kind of chaos in your lives.
Try not to react to their rude behavior, it will only encourage them.

First don't stress over it. Joining families is not going to be easy. I would say turn the other cheek and then give as good as you get. If they are rude prehaps they do not know any better. Be yourselves but do not let them walk all over you. You could try explaining the problems but be prepared to ride out a rocky time. Perhaps they are not adjusting as well as you. If you are older perhaps you can help them adjust. You guys are going to be a family so you might as well try to get along.

i think u should yell at them but if dont like getting in trouble yell at them when no ones around to c u yell at them
i (im 13)volunteer at this elementary school to look after little kids most are really rude but after they get yelled at their mostly quiet
but if ur really a nice person and dont want to do that then talk to ur parents theyll wat to do
