Ya, I can sing - Im in tune and it can be powerful its all good. But its nothing SPECIAL. how can I make my voice an original?

the best way to make it an original... is to just sing like you normally do.
don't try to make anything out of it.
Personally I don't care for the ones that try and go up and down the scale in a few notes.. just sing and make it a natural original.

DO NOT COMPARE YOURSELF TO ANY OTHER VOICE, EVER!! don't adapt anyone's style, or imitate in any way. don't listen to too many songs with vocal, find the corresponding instrumental and try your hand at it, you'll be amazed at what sound results! always research a song before you sing it, you want more than just power behind the voice, you want understanding! and best of all, get a band together or learn to play piano and write your own songs, nothing is more original than that!! i wish you all the luck in the world and maybe one day i'll see you name in lights!

Find the songs that you feel very deeply and sing those. It will show.
