Is it possible to get Invisalign braces, but keep a gap. I'll elaborate:
I have a gap in my two front teeth. By no means is it a large gap, but I don't want it closed. Don't ask why, I judt don't. It makes me unique and well, to be honest, I just like it.
So, I was wondering, is it possible to get Invisalign braces and be able to keep a gap. Is there something the dentist can do to prevent the gap from closing.

Any answeres would help.
Thanks in advance to all who choose to answer.

Maybe he could place something there while the teeth are moving to hold the gap open. Possibly a filling that can be removed, or a spacer of some sort. A good reputable ortho should be able to figure something out.

I don't think it would be possible since the invisalign would move all of the teeth. But you have to ask yourself, would you rather have crooked teeth and your treasured gap, or perfect teeth and no gap?

hmm if u want to keep a gap sometimes it might not be possible.. because the upper teeth and the lower teeth have to be able to bite down together which have to fit. if not next time after you take out your braces your teeth might shift again.
