Well simple just tell him, But make sure your best friend doesn't have any feelings for you . Because if he did...it could be a heart breaker for your best friend lol. But if you 100% sure that your just best friends with him and nothing more, than feel free to tell him that you like his other friend.

well if he is your best friend why would it matter? just tell him unless he likes you or something.
