If the world is supposed to be your oyster then why do I not like shellfish?

Oysters are great. However, if the world is my oyster, what happened to the pearl?

Not everyone likes shell fish ,but some do. I like smoked oysters, but I canot eat them out of the shell

i HATE oysters but i not saying that anyone should not like them. if you like them go for it, eat as much as u like, this is a free country

The thing I don`t understand about them is that you are supposed to give them a quick chew and swallow. Why would you waste so much money for something that you are not about so savour?
