I am sorry that I can't say boo about your question, but it did trigger something equally valuable, to my mind, because so many people have trouble with those little tiny ants in hot weather during the summertime - sage. Crushed sage will repel the ants. I think that is worth its weight in gold. I hope someone steps onto this site and correctly answers your question about lice. The reason I took your time about the ants is because of what a prime nuisance they can be and when it happens all you want to know is how to stop them. Thank you for posting your question. - Chris!

once again its got to be the good old tea tree oil, check it out here, we use it in our kids shampoo, to prevent infestation by head lice, when there are outbreaks at their school.

p.s. it doesnt matter if you have long or short or even no hair, the lice live on blood not your hair, the only thing a lice depends on hair for is a place to attach their eggs.

Get rid of all your hair. Lice can't live on a person with no hair.

get a miniature bottle of vodka , the same amount of tea tree oil , mix together, apply to hair , let it dry then rinse through. I thought this was a joke but tried it on my kids' hair and it worked ! now i tell them if they get anymore we make the lice drunk haha ! and they see the funny side of it without worrying them .

A good way is to cover your hair in mayonaise. I know it sounds gross but it does work. If you want directions how to do it a different way, there is a great website that will take care of it for you.
