If the person you care about the most was on fire, and you knew there was nothing that could be done to save his or her life, and he or she was crying "if you love me then kill me, kill me please" and you had a gun in your hand, what would you do?

Ha. What a contrived example. I'd just let them burn, because killing them would be illegal and would get me sent to jail. Come to think of it, standing around and doing nothing might be illegal too, so I'd at least do something to try to help. Even if it is futile, I'm not going to prison because some joker set themself on fire.

If it came down to ending suffering that could not ever be stopped and the person wished only for the pain to end, then yes, I would kill them. If the end result is death no matter what, then the suffering is only added pain to life, in which there is enough anyway.

I'd kill them. It's the only honorable thing to do under the extreme situation.

Most people if they saw their beloved pet was on fire wouldn't hesitant to end their misery; why not have that same compassion for a human?

I would kill them. But then again I am a rational person ruled by my brains, not my emotions or feelings. It is a shame really that there are not more people like me.

I would shoot him/her. I can't stand the fact that somebody's in pain

Ending someone's pain as one's request is showing the love to one

Euthanasia is absolutely right when the person requests it. It should be legal in many more less grotesque.

Only God has the right to decide who lives and who dies.
