Hello,
It seems some of these people leaving advice has never truly faced their own mortality in someway, shape or form. And for us non god believers death is still an integral part of the recycling of the planet.
As far as committing suicide. Millions have considered it when life became too hard. Issues to overwhelming to the point they felt they were alone with this nightmare. However, if their friends were friends, family were family they would include them in their daily life and listen a little longer, stay a little longer, and for the God squad people... pray a little longer. More tragic suicides wouldnt happen.
I was in a bad car accident and couldn't walk. Wife left me, job fired me. Landlord evicted me.... I went through the pity me phase and stared the quick answer in the face. As I sat in my wheel chair contemplating how and the whys I realized I owed it to my fellow humans to be an inspiration for them. Death was no answer to that.
But you know something people? Something so important that I need to be said .... Every day has something new. A new sound, a new smell, a new touch, a new feeling and perhaps new friends. In death we will miss it all. No one wants to miss that.

If I was on the battlefield perhaps and I was about to be captured by the enemy who I know to torture people to death to get information, maybe then so I dont betray my country.
Otherwise, I believe it is a bad thing because I believe suicide is a sort of unforgivable sin. No, suicide is a faithless act that basically says "God I dont care about what you want for my life, I just want to end it."

Only if I knew that by taking my life thousands of others would be spared.. be it any species on this planet. For example if I was infected by a disease that would kill hundreds of thousands of other living creatures, I would kill myself to prevent it from spreading.
The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one.

If I were terminally ill, in great pain, or captured by the enemy, etc...
I see nothing morally wrong with suicide and in fact under those situations it's the only honorable thing to do.

I have a migraine today. I have to be honest....there are days when I wish I were dead....they get so painful. I know God has my life in His hands, and I wouldn't do it, but I am looking forward to never having one of these again.
