My mom just told me that my "dad" well the guy i've been calling dad this whole time is not my dad. And that my real dad is my "dad's " brother. the one I call "uncle". What should I do I don't know if my "dad" or "uncle" know this.

Your DAD will always be your Dad. This other man is only your biological father. Do you love your Dad? Does your Dad love you? Why would your Mother tell you this if she has not told the men? So in my opinion the man you have always called Dad... is your Dad and if you can live with that, you will become a stronger person. I cannot imagine being in your shoes. I also can not believe she would tell you this if they did not know. Maybe your Dad never wanted you to know because he loves you so much. Was your Mom being nasty or hateful when she told you this information? Search your heart and you will find the answer you need.

talk to your mom and get her to yell you if they know about each other before you said anything to them( by the way how old are you) i am asking because if you are real young that a little to heavy to tell a teenager i hope you can talk to someone real soon (ps by the way your dad have all way been there for you and no need to hurt him or your uncle get more information from your mom weather they know)

What an amazingly horrible thing to spring on you. I feel the real issue here is concerning your mom's decision to tell you that. I'd flat out ask all three of them if it were true. I suppose there's a chance your mom is playing a sick joke on her husband. Perhaps something happened and your uncle couldn't play the role of father to you and adopted you out. Still, it's such a sick thing to drop on your head.

ask your mum why she has told you now. there must be a reason. and once you've worked through some feeling the bottem line is that .... whatever relationship you have formed with these two men will continue to be the same ! if you like or dis-like either of them, this would have already been established, so, just continue on as is. it dosn't have to block your life path in any way..that stuff's for your mum and them to deal with. x

This sounds like something very heavy to lay on you. Honestly it sounds very Jerry Springer-ish. Ask Mom to sit and explain to you what happened and why you all are in this awkward situation. Mom should not have just sprang this on you. Good luck.

Oh I have no doubt your uncle probably knows. What can you do? Nothing really except demand an explanation.

stick with the one that raise you and took care of you.
It is a hard situation but you are not the only one .
Think of the good time with them and remember that a parent is not the one who conceive
is the one who raise, take care, give love,,listen etc. to you.
