It would depend on how many candidates are not RC. Assuming every candidate has equal probability you can do the math yourself.

Assume x is the number of non-RC candidates, so the probability of an RC candidate becoming president is:

7/(7 + x)

Good question. JFK was Catholic and the general population about had a heart attack! They thought that he would let the Pope run the country. (snicker). I think it would be interesting to have one...................out of the 7, do you know how many are Dems and how many are Repubs?

Don't know your history do you? John Kennedy was a RC. Of course, an RC can be elected.
