So I have this guy friend who I've known for about 3 years now. He's also my neighbor. We talk on Aim and the phone a lot. We hang out together (but usually with a group of friends). We walk our dogs together at LEAST once a week, sometimes more. He also "beats me up" a lot. Like he'll play fight with me and tease me. I've liked him for forever, do you think he likes me?

I do think he likes you. On one hand, it sounds great! It's always nice to have a relationship with someone that you enjoy talking to and spending so much time with. On the other hand, please do your best - if things don't work out - to preserve a great friendship. Good luck to you.

The play fighting's a way of flirting.
Just ask to talk to him in
privite and say:
" I've liked you for forever."
"Do you think you'd like
to have a movie night."
"Like,and it being just the 2 of us?"
If he says:"Sure what time."
Say:" I was think about having it
at 5:00pm on a Friday."
If he agrees to it.
Ask your mom to order a
pizza that's 1/2 his fave & 1/2 u'rs.
Then,set up some sparkling
red grape juice in champagne glasses.
While getting the movie,make sure
that it's a romantic movie that's @ a
ratting you both can watch.

Yes there is a good chance he likes you because he keeps in touch with you everyday i assume. Notice the things he does like when you walk the dogs. Take special note of the tone of his voice talking to u rather than his other guy friends. About the teasing that is a definite sign. If he returns youor calls quickly and defends you when u might get picked on he probably likes you

When I was in high school I did the same thing with this girl in my gym class. For almost the whole year in 10th grade, I liked her alot but I was to scared to say anything, until she started to do the same kind of stuff back then I knew she liked me as well. I then built up the never to ask her out. I am know 24 and she is the woman of my dreams the one I love more than any other.
So needless to say let him know you like him, and maybe your story will turn out like mine.

Well, its tough to say, because you've been friends so long. Im in the same dillema as you my dear. However, I have found that when guys are around you they like to show their masculinity, and one way to let some of that sneak out is through playful fighting! After I read that you had that going on between you, I can say that its obvious he likes you!! Casually bring up the subject of a relationship and if he is interested...

umm yea i think he probably does. Just be causious in telling him how you feel. Some guys(not all) can be insensitive to girls' feelings. Take it slow...like asking him to just hang out (the two of you) and just kinda slowly let him know how you feel.

I think you should ask him to hang out somewhere besides the neighborhood or whatever, just you two. Then get to know him. And if you feel confident, YOU ask him if he likes you
