yes! and it hurts so bad! it was one of my front teeth. the one next to my kanine tooth. i was crying so hard. medicine doesnt really work 4 me

Yes, and it's agony. Don't let the dentist tell you he can pull the tooth while it's still abscessed either; some of them *will* try it, they'll tell you "Oh, you'll feel much better when the tooth is out, and I can numb it for you so it won't hurt so bad while I pull it." Ha!! Make him give you antibiotics, and *then* when the abscess is gone, go get done whatever you're going to get done to it. And make sure they give you something for pain too, something other than 800 mg ibuprofen.

I sure have. I had one so bad a couple years ago, that I was in tears. I couldn't eat or sleep. I took so much advil I made myself sick. The only treatment is to see a dentist asap. If it goes untreated too long, it can cause infections elsewhere.

had an abcessed gum in a wisdom tooth....and it was the worst pain Ive ever had..go to your dentist..take the antibiotics...a friend just had one and it took several courses of antibiotics to kill the infection...do not wait because it will only get worst....and harder to fight harder to fix and more Expensive!!

yep I did...wans't too bad...but neither was a sharp stick in the rump....
