I have very dry cracked feet, especially my heels and toes. How do I not only make them sliky smooth, but keep them that way all the time and get completely rid of my dry cracked feet?

I guess everyone answering dosen't understand that just applying lotion to dry, cracked feet won't resolve the problem. First you have to get the dry skin off! I found the solution. My heels were also very dry and cracked. I went in for a pedicure and the girl took one look at my heels and grabbed the Dremel tool! She had a sanding bit on it that is normally used for the artifical fingernails. She ground my heels down and I can tell you I was so impressed I gave her a $20.00 tip!

For Christmas I had my husband get me my very own Dremmel tool! Now, I can sand down the dry skin whenever I want to. In between I do use lotion but it seems that the dry skin returns. But, I now have control over those darn feet!

The Dremmel tools can be purchase at Wal-mart, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. They run about $35.00. My husband got me a really nice cordless one that came with a charger, a carrying case, and all of the attachments. I Love Him and he loves that my feet are not snagging his legs at night! LOL!!!

there are meds out there to use after showers and baths which moisten the skin and may make your feet soft again. it didn't work for me, yet what did work is even more strange to me. not using anything on my feet during a 13000k drive of about 2 months caused my feet to lose all callouses and become as soft as they ever were. a month after I was home, the callouses returned. as I say, stranger than fiction....... and yet!!
