I just bought it today. Hooked up all the wires color coded. When i turn on the car I get nothing from the CD Player, no power or anything.

You can't always go by wire color. You need a voltmeter to know if you have a good 12 volt source wire, and ground. Maybe you touched the 12v source to ground by accident when you were hooking it up and blew a fuse. Just grasping for straws. Of course "Drunken", if you were Drunken when hooking it up, that might be the problem.... Just kidding!

See, I have got a Cassette player installed 2 days back because I had a 12 CD changer which will relay songs thru the FM...It is always better to have a CD player but going thru ur constraints and the car it would be wise to fit a cassette player..I hope Banglore has many FM channels to cater to ur mood...As far as Delhi is concerned, u can do with only a FM player in ur car as there is a choice of more than 8 FM stations running continuously and playing good no.s all the time...

It's a short in the wiring. Bring it back. If you hook up a new one and it still doesn't work, have a professional hook it up for you.

You probably blew a fuse during installation. I have done many times.
