AP classes are classes that are specifically designed to prepare students to take the national Advanced Placement tests. These tests are pretty hard and you really need to do more than the normal amount of owrk to prepare for them. If you take the tests and pass them, then you can get college credit at many schools for those subjects. Some HS only have a few AP courses, but many of the top schools have ten or 15 different APs. A young friend of mine took 12 APs and passed all the tests, so when he went to college he started as a sophomore. If he graduates a year early that will save his family over $25,000. What a deal!!!

A.P stands for advanced placement. It means that classes usually cover more material and harder material than it regular classes. Many of them are patterned after college courses, including textbooks and workloads. You have the oppurtunity to take a test at the end of the school year, which may earn you college credit depending on the university (the highest score is a 5; but most colleges will accept a three to account for a class or two). The truth is that, AP classes are harder, and you are expected to perform at a college level. If you take all of these classes at once, expect to have a lot of homework and difficult projects. You also may not earn an A in an AP classes, which really doesn't matter because AP classes are weighted. If that doesn't phase you, then go for it!

AP stands for Advanced Placement.
AP classes are the same as regular classes when it comes to the basic subject. However, AP classes offer more challenge to those who are more advanced in the particular subject and need that extra boost of a challenge.
A student who qualifies for AP classes should certainly take the opportunity, but ultimately if the student wants to just continue on in mainstream classes, it's their decision. I think that if you feel that AP classes challenge you in the way you need to be challenged, then take them. If you're uncomfortable with the idea, then give yourself some time, or simply just take one AP class at a time and get the feel for it. Some students who are advanced enough to take AP classes can still become overwhelmed if they take too much on too soon. Start off with one AP class, and see how you like it. Then progress to two AP classes and so forth. Don't rush yourself if you're not 100% ready.
I wish you the very best in your studies!

In general, an AP class is a lot harder and prepares you better for the AP (Advanced placement) exam. If you're planning on going to college, it looks good on your transcript, and you can test out of some of the introductory courses that you would need to take, depending on how well you do on the AP examination.
When I was in school, these classes also counted more towards your GPA as well.
As for if you should take all the AP classes available, it would depend on how many there are and if you think you can devote enough time to each of them to get something out of it. I would take as many as you think you can handle, but remember you don't want to be studying 24 hours a day.

AP classes are alot harder than regular classes...but if you're smart enough and actually go in there with the attitude to learn, you'll do fine....at the end of the year you take a test and depending upon your score, you can get some hours of college credit
so yeah definetely do the AP classes they're worth it
and you also want to make sure that the college you want to go to accepts the AP credit...some of the private universities dont...

AP Classes are good for many reasons. Especially if you show intelligence, it would be a good way to test your knowledge and broaden your fields.
Also, AP classes show up really great on your transcript. It shows that you have the drive to go above and beyond in your studies to get the most out of your education and to prepare for college.
In other words: Yes!!
