There's this guy I really like. But I only have one period with him and in that period, he barely knows me. I've only met him for a couple weeks now, and I think all he knows is my name! How do I deal with this? What should I do to get him to notice me or something?

But if I just and say Hi to him and he barely knows me, don't you think it's kinda awkward that someone you don't know is saying hi?

If I try and start a conversation with him, won't he say " Do I know you?"

The period I'm in with him is PE.

Well, my friends say he's getting kinda desperate about going out with someone. My friend told me that last week, she and her other friends were walking in the hallways, and one of his friends came up to them and said to them that Will ( the guy I like right now) would go out with anyone of them if they said yes.

actually it's not awkward, it is if you do it in front of the entire class. (a kid asked a girl to homecoming like that, soooo awkward)

But if he's just chilling you could make your way over to his desk when he isn't busy, key fact NOT busy, and just say hey Brian, or w/e his name is. And be like can you help me with this work? and pretend to not get it or something and give him some compliments like ooh you're so smart

Go up to him and tell him or write a note and personally hand it to him (but no little hearts and don't tell him you love him) just be honest with the way you feel. If he likes you and he is mature enough to handle a relationship he will let you know, and he will respect you more for haveing the guts to come out and say what you think. If he does not respond in the way you would like then at least you know where he stands and you don't have to keep spending time thinking about it, you will be able to move on and find someone else.

I hope this helps and you get the best responce from him.
Good luck :)

Edit: The only whay you can make new friends is to introduce yourself, you do this by saying hi and starting a conversation. It sounds like he would be happy to have any girl come up to him and want to talk, this is good because then you can see if you even have anything in comon and then you have the upper hand and can decide if you still like him.

You can do it girl go for it!!!! ;)

Saying a hello is a good way to start it. Maybe if your crossed paths somewhere else besides PE. Give you a chance to say HI, I think we have PE together... and go from there. Some one has to make a move. Nothing wrong with the girl doing it, cuz often if the boy does it.. it may be to forward. its 2007 its ok to be liverated adn talk and go for it. It even sounds like your circle of pals may be able to invite him to your circle.. and then you get more contact.. and the more contact the possiblites to take it to where you wanna go.. good luck

Introduce yourself to him but dont come off to be desprate. Make sure its in a social place like a coffee spot or at a pffice party. Talk to him and try to become his friend first dont rush things. You may not even like him after you get to know him, so take it slow and learn stuff about him to verify the fact that you have a crush on him. After tht then start to do things that let him know that you're intrested in him.

Simply strike up a conversation with this boy! Don't be afraid, just act casual and natural. You don't need to do anything unusual to catch his attention. Just be friendly, sweet, and kind.

Remember: being friends first is an important step to a relationship.

Don't chase him.. he's seen you. The only way he couldn't have seen you is if he is blind. If he hasn't made the effort himself to get to know you, it means he doesn't want to get to know you that way. Don't go out with someone who is just desperate to go out with someone, it sounds like he's just looking for some "action" if you catch my drift and you are better than that. Set your sights elsewhere. Men are like buses, one leaves, and before too long another one will come along.

Dear Friend;
it seems to me ,that you are playing this game of who should make the first move ? if you really want to go forward with this guy, than i do not see no harm in going up to him and introducing yourself. that would be a good start. i would not worry about what others are talking about, because it seems to me that they just want to be caught up in the middle. go ahead and chat with him,see where it goes and who knows?

Make eye contact and naturally assert yourself. It's a no-brainer...always be honest in your likes and dislikes, because no one wants to be with a fake.
Have fun!
