Do you know of any Universities in Kentucky that offer courses in Bridal Consulting? Or, any websites I can go to involving BC. Thank You!

I got my bridal consulting certificate from PCDI. I don't know if that is a respected school or not, but that's where I got it and I still get jobs.

To my knowledge, there are no college courses in bridal consulting. Some universities offer programs--not necessarily baccalaureate programs--in event planning, but none of those are in Kentucky. Association of Bridal Consultants is an international organization devoted to the training and professional development of bridal consultants. They offer a number of home study programs to gain accreditation. This is a very worthwhile organization with an excellent reputation. You can find them on-line and I encourage you to contact them and take their courses.

I took my course through ICS but it is a Canadian course. However, our course material was all provided by the Association of Bridal Consultants that are based in Connecticut. They offer courses as well so you may want to take a look at them. Their website is:

Best of luck.

i know that a lot of the at home colleges have a bridal consultant program...i think the ones i've seen are from Thompson Direct, and Stratford career center(or seomthing like that.) the Thompson direct is nationwide, so you can do it where ever you are! i was going to use them fo r a seamstress program, but decided not to(went to a 'real' college instead.....................) but i saw that they had bridal consultant in every mailing i've gotten from them.
