I'm going to take some photos of 3 kids and need some nice ideas. I need some holiday ones as well as everyday ones. I have 1 valentines day idea. Give each kid a heart. 1 heart says I another says love and the 3rd says you. Have each kid hold one heart. But i'll take individual pics Then make the 3 pics into 1 valentines day card.

Nicer ideas come forom trowing some toys at the floor and let them play. You just have the camera at lower levels than their eyes, and shoot whatever semms to be funny after an incial warm up period of their eyes staring at you...
Xasual pictures give you ample space for capturing a good angle.
Avoide flash and use indirect lighting towards the ceiling and walls.

Ask them ... there is often some type of subject on each occasion the customer instruments up a photo shoot. My very last shoot the subject became "club Edgy" We rented a table mid week in a club and shot style. It became interesting, the lights became "funky" and the fashions had a blast.
