Let's put it this way: You're barely a teenager and he's soon going to be an adult. That 6 year difference is huge. Let go of this 19 year old.
Besides, it could be frowned up by some since it would illegal for him to do anything with you. And what you consider flirting was probably just him being nice to you in a "little sister" way. :)
I highly doubt any 19 year old will like a 13 year old. I liked an 18 year old when I was 15 and I found that gap to be huge.
Stick to people your own age. :)

The age gap should be no more than a year, maybe two. The reason behind this is because boys, always, have one thing on their mind. In each and every teen relationship, age is the biggest factor that determines dominance...he have the edge over you because he's older. Of course he is a sweetheart, you have what he wants. Ask yourself why he isn't dating someone his own age..like normal people do. Is it because you are such a fabulous person on the inside, there is a shortage girls his own age, or he thinks he's got you where he wants you to be. Why don't you ask your sister, better yet imagine that it is your daughter dating this guy. EEEW!!!

You probably shouldn't date anyone older than the boys you go to school with (14 or 15). You especially don't want to get involved with someone over 18 until you're over 18 yourself, because they could get in a lot of trouble. Plus you want to be with someone who wants the same things out of a relationship as you do, and what people want from a relationship changes, to some extent, with age.
Even if he were closer to your own age, you probably don't want to date your sister's ex. Boys will come and go, but you'll always be sisters, and you don't want to hurt her just to date this guy. Like I said, I don't think you should date him at all because of the age difference, but if you ever end up in a position where your sister's ex is closer to your own age, you should make sure she's okay with you dating him before you do. And if she broke up with him, she must have had a reason to. You should think about that as well.

my niece is 13 and i would not approve anyone over 15 and I nor her parents would ever let her go out with a 18 year old one it is illegal if you do do any thing and two why cant he get girls his own age. I know plenty of guys that age that have gone out with youngins and i have asked them why and they say that they are very easy to make them believe that they love them and then its so easy to have sex with them and leave. So basically most guys are just using little girls.

Girl,im really not trying to be mean, but I dont think hes intrested. That is too much of an age gap,and if you date him your breaking the law.If you do date him and break up,your so young the pain can be unbearing.Just try finding someone in your own class, youll be surprised.

none cause u should be playin sports or doing homework or just hanging out with your friends. Any 19 year old with a brain and a future is not looking to date a 13 year old. Maybe babysit one but that would be it. yuck!! Do you have parents?

Hey-I'm with the age is nothing but a number but he may have been just trying to be nice. you wouldnt want to make the mistake of asking him out and then he is like no and when you get older you will regret doing it-I know, it happens. He is a legal adult and so if you guys...it is illegal. just dont do anyhting stupid that you will regret sweetheart.
