I've been with my bf for a year now,he told me 8 years ago his girlfriend and son died in a car crash. I was talking to his sister today and i mentioned it and she said he's never had any kids!he said the boy was his girlfriends sisters son. I dont know why he's lied all this time,god knows what else he's lied about,i'm so shocked,how should i bring it up?

I would come right out with it and tell him I spoke with his sister and tell him what I learned. I would give him one chance to explain himself. Your right, if he's lying about something that critical, then he could be lying to you about everything. I would wait until you two were alone and then I would calmly ask.

listen-- first of all, how old are you? if you're in the teens, u must be stupid to have a guy who"had a kid".
but, then again, if you're an adult, i say this:
he probably did that just so he could get 2 ya about his"son". so people did die in accident, did they? well, i'm not really sure wt 2 say 2 that, but i'm guessing he said that the kid wuz his son cuz he probably thought it would make u sad ans then boom..... he's in with ya, and ur in a relationship. is that wt happened? cuz that's wt i thnk it is.
also, alot of guys make lies 2 win the woman that"they're in love with". so wt? sometimes, if ur ucky, u might catch him in the act....sometimes he blow and start laughing, and other times he means it seriously. in this case, his x-girl and the boy did die. he still lied. i say u give him some time....after u tell him wt u discovered. just let it in slowly during a conversation, then after that, he might wanna dump u. that only means 1 thing: totally not in love with ya! he lied, so u should break up with him 1st. if he told the truth, maybe that would've ended differently.
but, yeah, i no all this i have no idea. i c 2 many couples at school. i'm 13(14 in march) so i pretty much no wt i'm doing. just give it a shot, k?

OK i have had a couple of guys lie to me like that too, just different things. But you should just go into a conversation about getting married and having kids then just ask him why he lied to you. If he denies it, tell him you talked to some peeps and you found out the truth. Don't tell him who you found it out from. I don't know why he would lie to you about that.But i know if i were you i would be shocked, betrayed, and really mad

The only possible way to track down the truth is to ask his parents. If they both lied, then start to break up with him, step by step. If he lied, then just ask him to never lie again. If his sister lied, tell him his sister lied to you. Remember, if you're not sure about what somebody says, always ask their parents, no matter what that person says.

Tell him you found out about his lies and ask him how he could be so pathetic to lie about something that huge. What a loser.......did he want your attention that badly??
