We brought the animals down with us because we were given dominion over them. God gave them to us.
But when this type of doubt creeps into your mind, pray for understanding. The biggest mistake we make and actually, the original sin, is thinking that we have the mind of God and can reason Him into a myth!
God is beyond our understanding...and when it doesn't all make sense to our little minds we decide God isn't real because we don't get it. That's pride at it's best!!
God is not limited to our finite reasoning...he is not bound by the rules of our world, nor does he have the perspective we have. This is what faith it all about. Trust in him.

I thought about that too.
It might be that animals were made to have pain during birth, but people weren't, and when Adam and Eve disobeyed, the punishment was to live the life like everything else and have the pain.
Alot of the bible doesn't make sense and thats probably because God wants you to believe, and not have to see or understand to believe.

I agree, I do think of the concept-approximately that's exciting. i theory approximately it in the previous, yet by no ability to the quantity as I actual have now. If something, i'd probably think of that extra African individuals would be polytheist in modern-day situations if Christianity hadn't been compelled on us for the duration of the days of slavery. besides the indisputable fact that, i've got self assurance that faith is a important element contained domestically is the means to triumph over the conflict of being denied civil rights in the time of historic previous. the fact that we've been progressively (and nevertheless progressively) granted particular rights, people tend to owe the advantages to God. As generations persisted, i think of that the "place of start" faith became lost and a clean one became picked up. besides the indisputable fact that, there are additionally extremely some African individuals who circulate to A.M.E. church homes.

But that would mean making a logical decision. Christian's are allergic to logic. An analogy I like to use is a dam across a river. The dam wall is the fear that is instilled in Christan's from a very early age. The water of the river is logic. The wall blocks the logic and the logic builds up with pressure. Sometimes the wall breaks and the logic runs free, removing all trace of religious corruption. But in most cases, the wall just keeps getting higher and thicker.

I have just the opposite reaction to the scripture (Holy Bible) and I am not surprised but rather pleased at your reaction. The meaning of scripture isn't for you. It was inspired by God for those who believe and it is hidden from your understanding because of your disbelief. (1 or 2 Corinthians)
When I look at the schematic for a piece of equipment I understand it because I have studied how to repair equipment and used the information to make correct decisions many times. I trust/study scripture for making decisions in my life. The Bible says adultery is wrong so I don't do it, I just trust the Bible I didn't have to try and wiegh benifits against consequences.
Christ also spoke in Parables so not all would understand. Biblical instructions are formated for the believer in a pattern of a loving Father ( GOD) to a child. Sitting on his/her fathers knee tender and the only beloved. We Christian's feel toward GOD as, a loving Father feels, to a child upon whose knees the child is sitting. Our loyality to our Father/ GOD is to the death. We belive GOD has reserved for us the riches of eternal life with him. At the same time, it is sorry for you as the alternative is the eternal torment of damnation where the smoke of your torment shall go up forever. But I approve of your attitude as Christ said he would rather have you hot or cold than luke warm I honestly think if you keep an open mind that sooner or later you will belive in GOD but you may keep fighting against GOD until you die, then it will be to late as GOD will reject you just as you have rejected Him

Yes. There are many things in the bible that I find to be absurd to my mind. I almost walked away from the faith as I was studying philosophy. The reason that I was able to retain my faith is because I sought out miracles, and I have seen them occur before my own eyes. My wife's back injuries that she had had for 12 years were prayed for one night, and they disappeared instantly.

Sure, when my human mind takes over and I try to explain things of God with earthly explanations.
Also, those little doubts are the devil trying to pull you away from Christ.
Before you knew Christ, the devil did not bother you because he had you, but when you came to know Christ, the devil lost you, so now he is working extra hard by putting these doubts into your head to try to get you back.

I think you have something there about humans not being the only ones in pain during labor. Maybe you should ask specifically about that. See what kind of excuses.. erm.. i mean "answers" you get.
