Russian Orthodox stance on abortion?

Two abortions for every birth, population declining. Tax on childless and single proposed in Duma.

They are against abortion, but keep in mind that religion was outlawed in the Soviet Union, so the "freedom of worship" is relatively new to Russians.

My guess would be they're against it, but I'm not sure.
