I am trying to plan a trip for part of my summer vacation but would like to go somewhere that is not infiltrated by millions of visitors. Any suggestions on a place that would have its "off-season" during the U.S. summer months?

Summer here is winter in the southern hemisphere.
Try places like Australia, Brazil. or Peru. Even though it's winter, if it's close to the equator it will be nice.

Do you want to go to a beautiful, out of the way, calm, peaceful and absolutely spectacular place that you will never forget.
Try Crater Lake Oregon. You have to fly into a little airport at Medford Oregon, rent a car, get a good map and drive up a windy, mountain road, thru awesome landscape, where you see an occasional wild animal running across the highway (they are more afraid of you than you are of them) ... and the Lodge at Crater Lake is something to witness. The Lake is th emost beautiful in America. There are many small little communities around on your way up and back from Medford.

I guarantee you will love it. Not many tourists because they actully have to work to find it and get there. What a concept.

Enjoy your vacation. wish I could afford to take one.

Generally speaking, summer is "in season" all over the US. Off-season comes when there are less people traveling.
