if dog owners don't care about other peoples properties and let their dogs roam around using other peoples yards as toilets, should the property owner be able to use whatever it takes to rid themselves of these animals. poison, traps, guns, whatever!!

No, it is not the dogs fault they have no idea that doing their business in your yard is wrong or an inconvenience to you.... However the owner knows very well that it is irresponsible and rude to allow their dogs to eliminate in your yard. Therefore if you want to poison, trap or shoot anyone it should be the dogs owner.
Alas murder is against the law so really you cant just shoot someone over feces, no matter how annoying it is. What you can do though is report these people to your local municipality and have them fined for letting their dog run free and for breaking the law by not cleaning up after the dog..
Please dont punish the dog because of the owner... dogs like human children dont know any better unless we teach them.
If I was in your situation I would scoop up all the **** from their dogs and deposit it on their car, porch, swimming pool, front lawn or wherever it will do the most harm and attract the most notice.

the one and only answer to the question is NO.if you need to do something about the mess i suggest you try and contact the owners and if you cant then try something like a product called dogoff.what you do is spread it all round your yard and around the areas where dogs have toileted and then hopefully that will deter them from doing it again.plse dont do anything that will hurt or harm the dogs because its the owners fault not the dogs.go to the pharmacy and ask them for something that will stop dogs from using your property as a toilet.tell them its a big problem and you need something that will work ok.just remember it will not help you if you harm any dog or animal.goodluck and dont be so angry with the dogs.

Let's say , you are driving down the main highway and all of a sudden the pain hits you in the gut.And there is no public bathrooms or rest area around.I do not think you would go in your pants.So you would get off the main road and find a wooded area and do yor business. Do you own that wooded area? NO.! So do we shot you? Get real, you know that was a NO answer even before you asked that question.And I am sure you when in to the wooded areas before,as some had too.

You cannot do that. Call animal control. Throwing the poop into the owners yard usually does nothing when they do not care where their dog is loose. They WILL care though when they have to pay the large fines to animal control.

Don't hurt the animal... but if you want to torture their very stupid owners, give me a call. I'll be over with a shotgun. I went out to pick up my morning paper and it was lying in what appeared to be the refuse from a cow. Alright, I'm fromTexas... but we keep our cows out to pasture.. not on a leash. Just once, I'd like to catch one of these pet owners. I hear you. loud and clear !!

Why would you kill a dog for using the bathroom? Can I kill you for using the bathroom? How would you like to die? Machete, chainsaw, or claw hammer?

If you get caught,you can go to jail or get fined,talk to animal owner about it and if that doesn't work call and report it. and if that doesn't work, put poop in bag and dump it on there front door.....
