I have a recipe that calls for Savor Salt and it seems to me that Accent is about the same. Can anyone shed some light on this? Is it O.K. to substitute Accent for Savor Salt in a recipe?

Never heard of Savor Salt, but Accent is basically MSG. I think I would sub a generic seasoned salt for the Savor Salt instead.

I've never heard of Savor Salt but I'll be watching the answers. I don't like to use Accent because it contains MSG. Maybe Savor Salt won't.

Savor Salt used to be made by Schilling before they were part of McCormick. Sadly, it is no longer available.
