Last time, I was vomitting all of my food in the morning that I had eaten the day before. I had a bad case of diahrrea but also had to vomit really bad. The final time I vommitted, the vomit was yellow. Then I stopped. I went to sleep and it went away.
This morning, about 2 weeks later, I woke up having to vomit again. This time, it was all yellow. I kept vomitting and I had this horrible stomach pain. Then when I would vomit, it would be yellow and it tasted real nasty. Then I continued to have horrible stomach aches. Then I tried to go to sleep, and I did. Now the pain is gone.
What kind of sickness was that?

It sounds like the stomach flu, which is commonly either Norwalk virus or rotavirus. The yellow is bile and tastes very bitter. Be sure to drink electrolyte replacing drinks (like Gatorade, there are also less sugary options at the drugstore that work better, ask your pharmacist) to help rehydrate. The pain is from your stomach cramping in order to eject it's contents. The stomach flu can last from 4 hours to 48 hours depending on the aggressiveness of the strain.

The yellow with the nasty taste is bile. It helps digest food. That is nothing to be afraid of, it won't hurt you. It just tastes REAL nasty. The stomach pains are spasms of the stomach, which cause the vomiting. It sounds like you could be pregnant. At any rate since this is reoccurring, I would go to the doctor. You can buy an EPT if you like, to get you through the weekend. It might answer your question real quick. Go see a doctor. It will do you good.

That was most likely bile...made by the liver and stored in the gall bladder...it's yellow and tastes pretty bad. Seems like you've had some type of intestinal sickness, most probably a virus, that your body was trying to get rid of......by vomiting and by diarrhea. I'm sure you were having dry heaves too......which means you were wanting to vomit....but nothing would come up. I'm glad that you're feeling better now.

Sounds like irritable bowel syndrome. And that yellow vomit, that would be bile. Bile is excreted by the liver, heavy partying can cause your vomit to be full of bile.

it was the stomach flu. The yellow stuff you were puking up was BILE from you stomach becuse you were "out" of food to throw up. Bile is a nasty BRIGHT yellow flem that helps digest food. I've been there it sucks. Just try to get lots of rest and drink a lot of clear fluid!

That happened to me a few times in college after digressing from being a vegan. I kept a food log and was able to link it to milk and butter, meaning that I was lactose intolerant. I was consuming such amounts of it, the amounts that someone who normally eats such foods would, and the body decided that the best way to get rid of it was to throw it up.
