Just wondering why they have guard-like employees at the door checking for membership cards? Why would you go there without a membership? You can't buy anything without it and everyone knows it.

Apparently not everyone knows this. At Christmas time, I went to Sam's for my job (7:00 a.m. for business members) and people were outside camped out waiting for the Playstation 3. This Sam's had a total of 2. Anyway, one guy outside had no membership card and camped out there in the cold for nothing. He was very upset when the employees asked all of them to leave and come back when the store opened for regular business. When he found out he couldn't get in without the card, this guy went off. So that's one of the reasons they must check the cards at the door. Never assume, especially the obvious.....

All those clubs are jokes, they charge you a yearly fee and their prices are just the regular sale prices you can get anywhere.
