there's a big box of them at the laundromat here in town that advertises in big letters that they're free! How much do they usually cost? Because I sure as hell wouldn't pay for one--won't touch the free ones--couldn't pay me to take one. I'm just wondering how good a deal this is for people who are just dying to get tracts and can't find anyplace that sells them

They would cost a few cents each. They don't interest you, but can interest others. By saying they are free, it means people need not hesitate to take them - they are not something somebody accidentally left behind. Nobody is forcing you to take one. Of course it could be educative to know what others believe, but you don't have to.

They are always free. They just want to invite people to take and read one in hopes that they will find salvation. If you don't want one simply ignore them. I pray you find Jesus and will be saved.
