I have had 2 sets before and they didnt last longer then 30k miles, but thats with many offroad trips on them as well. I have heard from others that they have had about the same distance on theirs. I hope this helps alil.

I get 40k on my ATs. They are the only tire I ever use. I have no complaints on wear, road noise and off road performance(mud snow and rocks).
With a mud terrain you will get less mileage due to the gap between the tread. Not a great tire for wet streets. But if you live in the Western US then its not an issue.

Every tire is different, driving habits and road conditions can determine actual mileage. Normal and decent driving habits along with good raod conditions those tire should see a lot of miles, possibly 60,000. My father had a set last him to 130,000 miles but drives like a turtle slowing down for every crack and hole in the road to avoid them and never hardly got the tires above 50 mph. Friction and heat are the killers of tires. Faster means more friction and heat and more tire wear, less miles.

I'm on my third year on my 33" MT's and the previous owner had them for about 1.5 years. I do mostly highway and daily driving with occasional off roading. The other guy only off roaded with them. I'm pretty sure that they'll last another year.

That all depends on your driving style. My 33"s have lasted well into their second year, they have plenty of tread left as well.
i do more highway driving than off road. So in answer to your question "They will get you there and back, many many times"
