I'm trying to remember the name of a certain brand of cough drops. They came in a brown paper like bag, and the bag had a picture of a fisherman on the front of it. The cough drops tasted like licorice. I think they are mainly sold up north, but can aslo be found down south. My mom gave them to me as a kid, and it's driving me crazy that I can't think of the name of them. Any help would be appreciated, and they are not The Smith Brothers cough drops.

They're called Fisherman's Friend. They are even available in Japan, so you should be able to find them wherever you are. Check online (I am sure they have a website) to find out where they're sold.

Fisherman's Friend. You should be able to get them at Walgreen's or other drug stores, but they aren't in a brown bag any more. :)

yep, they're call fishermen's friend and they come in a white box with red lettering or a tin like altoilds mints. you will find them with the cold suppression supplements like vit c. and zinc enhanced lozenges. there was another cough lozenge that came in a box and tasted like licorice but i don't remember what their name was either.
