I say sort of miracle because it's not something I could ever imagine happening or would ever want to happen...but if it happened it might still be a miracle to some if it seemed like a disaster to me... but anyway maybe I could be a Christian ex-gay saint, what do you think?

Or would I be a gay martyr?

Nancy, if you ever had a hymen in your rectum you would pop! I think you have your anatomy badly confused.

gay martyr--it would be like you had died and somebody else had taken your place. Someone who was extremely brainwashed and repressed--I'd mourn your passing

Miracles do happen! I've seen them happen in my life.

All who become Christians are considered saints. Which means they would be sanctified or "set apart" from the world for God.

So yes you would be a saint in that sense of the word.

I came out of a lifestyle of habitual sin. In the eyes of God sin is sin, no matter what type of sin. I take comfort in verse 11 of the following passage:

9"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God." 1 Corinthians 6:9-11

I can count 5 things on that list that I was prior to becoming a Christian. And God has been working on washing and sanctifying me since that time. A lot of people just focus on God vs gays, but as you can see from this list, if we called you an ex- gay saint, we should call me an ex -covetous saint, or an ex- fornicating saint, or an ex- adulterous saint, or an ex-idolatrous saint and an ex-thieving saint.

I do hope that one day before your life on this earth is over and or before Christ returns that you would become part of the family of God. We all have come from a place where we didn't please God.

I hope this answers your question.
(I always assume that questions like this are out there to make fun of Christians, but if you seriously want to find out more about God, the bible, salvation email me.)

Take care - Redeemed (by the blood of the Lamb)

according to the Word of God, sin is sin, whether it be lying, stealing, or being gay. He is not pleased with any behavior that does not magnify Him. and YES it would be, well, not a miracle per say but a glorious, thing to happen. Anytine some one turns to Christ, our Lord and Savior and repents of their sins the angels rejoice and anyone who knows the Lord and what changes He has made in your life will also praise the Lord. It's only thru Him that salvation comes about. Nothing you or I can do to make it happen. I Can tell you Christ died for your sins. He knew you even before you were born and you were made in his likeness and God is not gay, nor a thief, or liar or whatever. Oh, and you would be God's child. He would be your Father and everything he has is made available to you according to your faith in him. God loves you. He is also waiting for you. God Bless YOU

enable me start up by using asserting i'm a Christian and a hundred% at the instant. even however, while in comparison with many different Christians I easily have a incredibly diverse stand element on gay marriage/homosexuality. first of all, I HATE as quickly as I hear a Christian say "Being gay is a decision" because of the fact they needless to say are not gay in the event that they are asserting that and thanks to the fact that they are actually not gay how could they understand whether that's a decision or no longer? can't stand that. Such an ignorant view on issues. Secondly, in God's eyes a sin is a sin is a sin, being gay is not any worse that asserting "oh my god" or from now on effective than murdering your loved ones. the way I see it we've all sinned and because all sin is equivalent in God's eyes who're we to decide or call one yet another out on sin? If 2 adult adult males or 2 women desire to get married, why do we attempt to become in touch? it incredibly is extremely no one's employer yet theirs. they are actually not hurting all of us and their judgements to stay a undeniable way are between them and God. i would not sell being gay yet I do sell having freedom to pass with.

being gay is a choice no matter how many people say it isn't. if your chose to turn from the lifestyle you are currently living and accepted Christ you wouldn't be called "ex-gay" or whatever, you'd be called, " A Child of God" no matter what your past life was like. Did you know that having sexual relations with the same sex is in the same category of sin as murder, adultry, lying, and stealing. By the way, it's not the person God hates, it's the lifestyle you guys choose to live in. He still loves you but wishes you would turn to him. Plus i'm sorry to say, you can't be living with the Holy Spirit, or with God in your life if you're gay, He hates all kinds of sin and that is one of them, he can't look upon it. He still loves you but he can't look at the sin. So look at your heart and life and i think you could discover that you can change, and that it is your choice.

I am not of the insight that someone with fleshly desires for the same sex could become "straight", No more than i am of the insight that someone who is an alcoholic could ever not be an alcoholic.

What you would do, if you ever decided to accept God as your creator and Jesus Christ as your salvation, is to control all earthly thoughts and desires and strive to live for God and God alone. We all have to fight and control our earthly thoughts and desires, they do not majically go away the moment we first believe.
But, to answer your question simply, the moments you are saved, you become a saint according to Gods word, the bible.

Christians struggle with sin...sin is sin, whether it is sexual or not...grumbling is sin! We are not perfect, just forgiven...He is faithful to forgive our sins when we confess those sins to Him and turn away from it, thank God! He is faithful even though we are not! What is important is to spend time with Him in prayer and in worship focusing your eyes upon Him...what is NOT important is harboring guilt and shame feeling bad convincing yourself that somehow you in your own power can even be capable of not sinning! He came to set the captives free, those whom are set free are free indeed...why? because Jesus does it and not us...even in our best righteous state we are all filthy rags in God's eyes...it takes the blood, the purchase of of a pure spotless lamb to cleanse us...and "It is finished" It is already done...all we have to do is receive it...and that's it. Commit yourself to the Lord and He will cover it! Repentance does not equal remorse they are two seperate things...remorse is a signature our soul says that we need to repent...repentence is realizing our need and changing our mind to pursue the right road! It doesn't mean that we don't ever sin again! It means that we receive direction and move forward! I pray that you will be blessed with grace to know that you are loved for who you are and that nothing you do can change His love for you. For all who accept Him as Lord and Saviour are saved! No matter how you feel or what the world or devil tells you in your ear. You can't change yourself, you are human only through the power of the Holy Spirit can you be changed. So then striving and working cannot save us, but only the work of the Holy Spirit, which we gladly receive and our grateful! May you be blessed with spending time with Jesus I pray. Believe in miracles, but this belief comes through experiencing His glory as you come to Him in humility and gratitude...He loves you.

After you turn from your gay lifestyle, you would then need to accept Jesus as your personal savior to be a Christian. Then you would become a child of God and have a place in Heaven for eternity.
The Choice is yours. Will you live your life for your own pleasure or will you chose to serve God.

you would be nothing more than a man that Jesus found and showed the way.

Bible alone states that no man shall lay with another man or a beast.

Can't get much more plain than that.

I do like the fact you think its funny to make fun of Christians and are curious somewhat about it. It means Jesus is working on you....just listen to the voice inside you, it speaks the truth.

Boy, you're willing to sacrifice a lot for a little notariety, eh?

To each his own.

Remember the gay martyrs of the Nazi death camps.
