Microsoft will allow you to install it on 1 PC & 1 Laptop.
They did for me with Ofiice 2003.
Call them to be sure or have the reseller write that on the bill.

They just don't like to advertise it .... keeps people from buying a licence they don't really need.

Mind you ... right now there is a free Torrent download of Office 2007 Professional available that will allow you to install it on a hundred PCs.
Someone uploaded a copy of the Enterprise version ... doesn't even require activation.

Officially...no.

You can install it as many times as you like. However, you can register it online 2 or 3 times before Microsoft propts you to call the 1-800 number to India and go thru the long process of registering over the phone. They will ask you if the software is installed on any other computers...tell them what you like.

You don't download it, you go out and buy the package.

Yes, you can put it on your desktop and laptop, the only thing you can't do is use them both at the same time.

Meaning, you can't be typing in word on your laptop and opening word doc's on your desktop simultaneously. i haven't figured out how they know ... but they know.
