Sure, get photoshop every one's doing it. Photoshop is very expensive and unless you know what you are doing with it, you'll never be using it enough to make your money back.

There is a free program called GIMP that you can get. That way you aren't spending a lot of money, and you aren't putting illegal software onto your machine.

There are a few you might try: Photoshop (Trial of CS2) http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?platform=Windows&product=39 or of CS3 http://www.soft32.com/download_346.html

Adobe Illustrator Trial (scroll down about mid way of the page) http://www.adobe.com/downloads/

Corel Painter XI http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Graphic/Graphic-Editors/Paint-Shop-Pro.shtml,

Paint Shop Pro might work as well http://www.download.com/Paint-Shop-Pro/3000-2192_4-10001995.html
