It could be a swollen lymph node. I see that a lot with patients coming in the ER. Usually it's do an infection and/or illness of some sort. Do you have a fever or have you been feeling ill? Have you biten by an insects? It could also be an abscess or some people call it risen. In that case, they can do a simple incision and drainage and give you some antibiotics so that incision site doesn't get infected. I haven't heard of any particular reason an abscess develops (most occur after an insect bite but not always) but it's not hard to diagnosis or treat. I say go the doctor and have it checked out.

Just go to the doctor. This is not the place for a professional,
diagnosis. The doctor MUST see you, take blood work, maybe
some tests.

Monday would be a good day!

good luck

My sister had the same problem.

It was about the size of a lemon on her neck.
None of the doctors knew what it was.
SO, she had surgery. They cut it out and still didn't know what it was, so they sent it to this lab. She was perfectly fine afterwards, but she had to wear this patch on her neck for like 2 months?

This was a few years ago and she's still fine, so I recomend you getting surgery.

It could be a fatty tumor or even Cancer. You need to see a doctor to get it taken out or off. If you try to remove it yourself you could get a severe infection or if it is cancer it could spread much faster. YOU MUST SEE A DOCTOR!
