He's probably seen something on tv about a nan who lives far away. My son currently thinks all grandma and grandads are pigs as in peppa pig!

It's a nice thought that shes visited, but don't let it freak you out :)

I think its entirely possible - you hear of things like this happening all the time, apparently kids are more open to seeing spirits etc because they have no prior expectations or disbelief.

Or maybe its just that someone has said this to him that she now lives far away instead of saying she has died

I assume she is, in fact dead and hasn't just sneakily visited him while you were out?!

that's a hard one. I recommend her organic and organic grandparents do have a appropriate to affix her existence, yet no longer in the event that they're attempting to injury the risk-free practices of this little female's existence. How can they no longer comprehend that their junkie relative chosen the medicine over his little female and that's the place that's gotten them. confident, ultimately she would desire to comprehend approximately her dad yet while they're attempting to undermine your new mans place in her existence then it fairly is risky. it feels like she has a solid guy in her existence and she or he probable loves her sister too. For her grandparents to disrupt her image of stability is irresponsible and selfish. in case you daughter ever questions her step father have him sit down along with her and tell her that even however he's not her genuine dad he's been there for her and he loves her very plenty. while she's older she would be able to comprehend optimistically and she or he'll be grateful that she had a mom and step dad that cared for her plenty.

Do we assume that his grandma has "passed on". If so, then someone might have explained that his grandma is in heaven. I find my little girl (same age) obsesses about heaven simply because she doesn't understand it. When our dog dies I told her that she was in heaven and she still talks about it being far away etc etc.

When my son was 4 and we would be out in the car he would say Grandad used to take me here I thought it was spooky cause my dad was dead it's just something that kids come up with hearing others talk about grandparents, don't worry about it .

Children are more open to seeing Spirits as they have not been told it's wrong or they are just imagining it.

I have no doubt he is in communiction with her, it can't hurt him & his Grandma would be so happy he can see her.

My grand daughter talks about her puppy in heaven playing with her three cousins who passed as if she's been there playing with them as well...
Weird, I know, but I think small kids are actually closer to God than us adults are...

EDIT: I just happened to think...Jesus taught us that we needed to be like little children.

Our loved ones are always aware and wanting to know about those they left behind. Communication is called mediumship.

No. You have probably confussed him because you don't want to deal with the death and say, stuff like, they are no longer with us. So the kid is associating what he know with what you have told him.
