Shes in heat, getting her period, if you will. She should be spayed asap. Its only going to cause problems in the future, behavioral and physical. She is old enough, get her spayed before those hormones ruin her.

Yes like everyone said that is normal, she is getting ready to deliver. And also like alot of people mentioned, why did you let this happen. You obviously don't know what you are doing so you most likely just breed a dog that might not a good dog to breed. you breed to better the breed, not just to breed. Why are there so many irresponsible pet owners out there. I'm sorry for being cruel, but if you don't know what you are doing, then don't do it. And get her spayed after they are weind. and by the way, she can get pregnant very easily after she delivers and that is not good for her, so make sure she stay's away from males. And you better do some research on how to feed a puppy and take care of it in case the mother doesn't. Or the puppy can die. You need to find out about everything that can go wrong just in case so you will be knowledgeable enough to take care of things if they do happen. If you can't you are taking a big risk of losing a dog if all the puppies don't come out and possibly losing puppies.

Sounds like she's in heat. Is there any swelling down there? I have a Jack Russel and she's 9 years old. She was fixed when I got her from the pound 5 years ago. They are the toughest dog pound for pound. They are very hipper but, the lovinest dog I've ever had.
If you don't want puppies keep her inside your home. If you would like to breed her , find a male Jack.
I never liked small dogs before I got this one. They are a great breed.

Yes, female dogs do have "periods", but it is more typically referred to as being "in heat". It usually lasts around 3 weeks. Some dogs go into heat a few times a year, while others only go into heat once a year. If you do not plan on breeding your dog, then wait a week after she goes out of heat, and get her spayed. There really isn't much you can do to help. You just have to let it run its course. If you have nice furniture or sheets for your bed(If she sleeps with you), don't let her on them because everything may end up with small spots of blood.

Yes dogs have periods. They call it in season or in heat. Female dogs go into heat for 21 days every 6 months. This is the time they mate. Becareful your going to have male dogs around looking for her. They can smell her. She may try to bolt on you so keep an eye on her.

Yes you dog is having a heat. You need to make sure NO male dogs get near her or else you will end up with a pregnant jack russel.
Get her desexed within 2 months of her heat ending.

She is probably in heat. They bleed when this is going on. You should get her fixed as soon as it stops and you shouldn't let her near any male dogs either since she will probably get bred.

she is more than likely in heat.. female dogs do get period that is when they can concive.. you should get your dog spayed if you dont want her to have puppies or if you dont want to deal with this.. good luck there are many low cost places you can reserch on line depending where you live.. you may want to wait till she is done casue it will be mor expensive for her to get fixed while in heat
