Well I have perfectly straight teeth, but I have this minor drawback of a big gap between my two front teeth. I was trying to search for things to help close it beside braces (because they are $2000+, and I came across this Google ad, and it looked promising and legit: http://www.teethgap.com/order.htm
Have any of you heard of the Teeth Gap Teeth Affects Bands before? Do they work? I sure hope so because I already ordered them...haha.

The gap is called diastema and even if you use the bands it will probably come back. It is the natural way your teeth come in and the only way to change that is to get braces. I am a dental assistant and I have a small gap in my lower teeth, just something to live with. My father in law says, "it's a sign of intelligence", so if you don't get it fixed, think of it as a kidd of beauty mark. Good luck hiney, hope everything works out for you.

What a cutie! My son is only 10 months old but he also has very gappy teeth. I asked the dentist about it today while I was there for an appointment and he said it was actually preferable for babies to have gap teeth to make room for the adult teeth which are naturally larger.

i have heard of the bands and heardthat the do just not as quickly as braces. A diastema isn't really that much of a big deal, but if it bothers you i would go to the dentist because over the counter products could make your teeth crooked if used incorrectly

I haven't tried them. I have a gap between my front teeth and I've just accepted it.
Good luck. I hope this helps.

i had the exact same problem when i was 13. people may say live with it, but i was so embarassed when i had it. my dentist found a cheaper way than braces that actually worked... i got a retainer for a couple of months, then he gave me porcelain veneers. it may sound more expensive, but we did research before i got them done, and trust me it wasnt... i dont know about the bands, kinda sound iffy to me. honestly i know how you feel though.

Hi

I 've got the bands last year but after like a few days I stop using them. the band kept "ridin" up the teeth cutting my gums making them red and sore. it was painful and made my teeth very sensitive. maybe your gums are not as sensitive as mine are so maybe it will work for you.

Porcelain veneers can close the gap. Ask your dentist for the price.
