you first have to realize that the earth is not millions of years old. It's only a few thousand.We were created as man in one day not over thousands or millions of years.most of the fossils discovered today were created by a great flood that caused massive mudslides which encased creatures trapping them so that outside air could not allow decaying processes to take place.Floods cause layers and different layers would trap different species as they drowned.Smaller animals would have to start swimming first and would drown first.flatworms and small crustaceans would already be at the bottom of the waterways and would be found in the lowest layers.the ark was real.Noah didn't have to take full grown animals on the ark and he didn't have to take every animal just 2 of each kind. there are several kinds of dogs but Noah only needed 2 dogs and 2 cats and 2 lizards.You wouldn't take big lizards so the dinosaurs are extinct.Mammoths have been found in glaciers frozen solid standing upright.proving that this was a huge event that happened very quickly and the poles of the earth froze solid during this event.Imagine how cold it would have to be to freeze a mammoth solid before it could fall down dead.As the waters receded Noah's ark came to rest in the mountains and the animals were set free. God used these animals to create the life we have today.I don't see birds changing into frogs or dogs changing into horses today.I do see birds adapting to their environments but they are still birds.Some people chose to call this micro-evolution but I call it adaptation.We were never monkeys or sharks or 2 celled organisms and sharks and monkeys and 2 celled organisms are still what they are.They are not evolving but they do adapt to their surroundings.Go to answersradio.com for free on-line reading on this topic and more. Why, if species have descended from other species by insensibly fine gradations, do we not everywhere see innumerable transitional forms? Why is not all nature in confusion instead of the species being, as we see them, well defined? ... But, as by this theory innumerable transitional forms must have existed, why do we not find them embedded in countless numbers in the crust of the earth?… Why then is not every geological formation and every stratum full of such intermediate links? Geology assuredly does not reveal any such finely graduated organic chain; and this, perhaps, is the most obvious and serious objection which can be urged against my theory.(Charles Darwin, The Origin of Species, Oxford University Press, New York, 1998, pp. 140, 141, 227)
Fossils do not prove evolution, they only show one animal that existed, there is no connecting chain. The confused notion that they do is only a result of anti god propoganda in order to get people away from God and submitted to men. The fossils can be interpreted different ways, the evolutionist interpretation is based on naturalistic and atheistic presuppositions, not unbiased thought.They do not consider and have pre-abandoned the idea that God is the creator, they have thrown that out as a possibility, and so even if the evidence leads in that direction they will fight aghainst it and look for or invent a non god solution, which of course will be rationally constructed like a novel and all the gullible will blindly follow that trusing in authoritative spokemen rather than their own reasoning abilities.
This is sad and dangerous because the benefits of independent thought that we have inherited fro the so called enlightenment, which was a break-away form such lock-step thinking and deference to "authority" and the interpretations of "authorities", is not garunteed, it is only with us as long as we have confidence in our own ability to interpret data according to common reason that is reasonably informed. The data no one argues, it is the interpretation that is debated and some wish to force upon us all, for their own ego's sake, I am speaking of people involved in what are called the sciences.

ENDLESS TIME
Gen.1:1,2; All exist. Time is not given. All are not expected to be experts.
Gen.1:3-25;
Earth that exist is in preparation, to plant life before and after times and seasons for thousands of years, then animals for thousands of years what ever happened here,
needed the next step. Much can be said about all this earth preparation time.
Times and season stay the same, it is not the same as day for God.
Gen.1:26;
God said,"Let us make man in our image, after our likeness."
John 17:3,5,24; Col.1:15-17; Rev.3:12,14;
Jesus was with God, before the world was, first creation created in image of God.
Job 34:4-7; Rev.5:11; Luke 20:34-36;
Angels see earth prepared, they are called morning star and sons of God, angels are vast in number, angels do not die.
Adam began 6,073 years ago, kings ended 2613 years ago in Empire #3, Jesus was in Roman Empire #6, 2007 years ago.
How much progress has man made in 6,073 years, is the time before him truely known
and at some point in time, will 1Cor.15:22-28,51-53; come to pass, " As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." All in order.
Eph.2:7; 3:21; The world with Jesus is without end. John 3:16; 2Pet.3:13; All made new
Rev.21:1-5,8; Rev.20:1-6,12,13; Rev.20:7-10; end of 1000 years, all perfect for the Paradise of God. Rev.2:7;

The two can work together. Some people can ignore either argument but doing so makes them a little less intelligent. We can see "acts of God" all around us, because God works through nature to create more nature. God uses people, animals, bugs, and even little viruses to shape future generations of more people, animals, bugs and viruses. What's so hard about understanding that?
Oh yeah, that's right, it says in Genesis that God created everything. The problem that people have with that line is their assumption that God created everything all at once, and in its current state. What they are ignoring is that a day can be a thousand years, or more, because it's symbolic.
All you have to do is take what we know from science and what we are given from the prophets and understand that we are all "works in progress," from God.

Chris

Some people trying to conform to the world, say God caused evolution. The others like myself deny evolution and have never seen anything remotely resembling proof positive that we evolved slowly from animals. Evolution is just the hope of every atheist that God doesnt exist, much to their disappointment.

Most Christians handle it very well. Genesis is not literally true. The Old Testament Fundamentalists don't accept the fact of evolution but they are not Christians even though they call themselves such.
The Bible is a book of religion, not science. If you take the Bible as being literally true, ot only do you have to explain the paradoxes and contradictions, you have to reject all of science and mathematics.

Evolution is a lie. It never happened, and never could. Darwin ripped off the idea from the old Babylonian religion.
Fossils show existence, not that there was any "evolution" from one to another.
