marianne my condolences go out to you for your loss. You will find the words you seek in your heart.
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the star-shine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.

This is my own poem.
My falling lover Written date: Nov. 11, 2004 at 3:00PM
You were the falling star
And I was the rising sun
The dark sky had been your home
But it died out when the sun rose upon
Your brown eyes were full of frustration
And your back was hunched by agitation
You felt weary and tired out from fear
And the burden of life was too heavy to bear
Your withered face had lost the youth
The look that enchanted me had torn to pieces
And your vitality became like the breath of a falling star
For now you are in the tomb with no sense of a living heart
The dust upon you is thickening day by day
You are now just fertilizer that makes thrive
the vegetation above that dominates and sways
With no trace that you have been vividly alive
Your sweet kiss became like a dream
My tears flow far like a stream
The memory about you had been down to the bottom
For you are gone and have faded like a dawn spring-blossom
When I reminisce about the time we shared
Wondering about the problems we had
And the answer appears to be that
You were old and I was young

For God Hath Marked Each Sorrowing Day
And Numbered Every Secret Tear
And Heaven's Long Age of Bliss Shall Pay
For all His Children Suffer Here

Here are two poems i found, i think i like the second one beter. sorry for your loss...
~Only The Best~
A heart of gold stopped beating,
two shining eyes at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove,
He only takes the best.
God knows you had to leave us,
but you did not go alone,
for part of us went with you,
the day He took you home.
To some you are forgotten,
to others just part of the past,
but to us who loved and lost you,
the memory will always last.

~Their Journey's Just Begun~
Don't think of them as gone away,
their journey has just begun.
Life holds so many facets,
this earth is only one.
Just think of them as resting
from the sorrows and the tears,
in a place of warmth and comfort,
where there are no days and years.
Think of how they must be wishing
that we could know, today,
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of them as living
in the hearts of those they touched
for nothing loved is ever lost
and they were loved so much.

Though right now, you feel a pain that is indescribable
know that your loved one is looking down on you with admiration and love,
the time you spent together, although fleeting,in your own mind
will in no way compare to the time you will have to spend apart,
( insert name here ) will always be with you, everywhere you go and in everything you do, he will be the smiles on your childrens faces, the wind in your hair, when you look up at the stars at night, whisper his name as he will hear it, and hold you as you sleep.
He is not gone
please do not weep.....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It feels like a lifetime,
A thousand days have p*ssed by
Since I held you close to me
If I could see that smile from my friend
I know that I could live again
I need you here with me
Heaven knows what to say
Even though for right
Now you're so far away
I hope and I pray
Somewhere in your heart I'll always stay

Please accept my condolences on your losses.
As to quotes - i find it usually best to speak from the heart.
And, tell people you do not have words to share, if you do not have them. Believe me, people will understand, and appreciate.
If you are looking for comfort from quotes, then it may be a different story - but with that it is hard to help.
This because everyone experiences grief in his/her own way. And what works for me, need not necessarily work for you.
Good luck.

Cry for me a little
Think of me sometimes
Think of me now & again
As I was in life
Leave me in peace
Let your thoughts be with the living !
Sorry for your loss, Your friend is in a new city, that sits among the stars.

For all of us, there will come a time when the song ends, but do not be sad that it is over, be glad, because we shared in it.

i made this one just for you
To see them is to love them,
And love them but forever;
For nature made them what they are,
And never made another
