it is a camry
also i think that toyota coming into the cup series will expand the fan base of NASCAR,therefor bringing millions more into the sport.
nascar the past 2 years has seen a decline in popularity, toyota will raise that #.
not only do we have ford, chevy, dodge, but now we have toyota.
nascar is run and operated by genius's.
now not only rednecks, idiots, inbreds,as we fans are often called,we now have foreign people getting into nascar.

They are using the Camry for the race season. I do not think this will help NASCAR become a world sport. It is very popular in the US because all the drivers are from the US. Juan Pablo Montoya is the only foreigner at this time. I believe for NASCAR to cross the ocean and gain more fans, it needs more drivers from all over the world. I think this could happen in a few years, but right now it would not work.

Its the Camry, and it wont help put Nascar on the worlds radar. Juan Pablo Montoya is probably the only F1 racer to come over an will likely be the only one ever. Nascar isnt suited for world wide distribution, people in Europe arent interested in the same racing stuff we like here.
Nascar wont ever make the worlds circuit as anything other than a blip of the radar of real world wide racing, open wheel. Open Wheel racing is tthe world wide motorsport, and it will always be.

Toyota Camry is the Make and Model of car and no it will not be a 'world sport' it costs to much to move the equipment needed for the races to say England , Japan, Australia...The Busch Series, however, will be adding a race in Canada this year as well as the race in Mexico.

Camry. It already is a "world" sport. Go anywhere in the world and people will have heard of NASCAR.

It' like the Tarus was, it's a 4 door converted to a 2 door. It really don't make much difference as all the cars have to meet the same template. Won't be long, all cars will look the same. the NASCAR isn't what it really say's. Another couple years and there will be a NASCAR car, and not individule makes. Then it will suck.
