If your boyfriend is overweight this may exacerbate the problem, encourage him to lose weight, drinking alcohol relaxes the muscles in the body which may also cause snoring even if you normally don't snore.. get him to stop or reduce the amount he consumes. Hope this helps xXx

Hey there, i used to suffer the same with terrible snoring and darf vader like breathing!
Not to scare you but with persitant snoring like that it could be a medical condition and also weight has a huge effect.
I lost alot of weight when i was snoring badly and it seemed to help a great deal.
Try that if not i would go to the your G.P[Doctor] and seek further advice

Tape a golf ball to his back - apparently this works as people only snore when they're on their back
I find just elbowing him (my boyfriend, not yours obviously!) and telling him to shut up also works, if only for a few minutes

Punch him, then he'll probably roll over and you'll here it again in 5 minutes. there really isn't a cure. some have it bad others don't. but eating healthier seriously helps it! try that.

Just prod him in the side or jab him with your foot each time he wakes you. You can also elbow him.
Works ...but you have to develop a way of doing it without fully waking your self up.

Pull the pillows out from underneath his head, yes it works!
He'll just think they fell off the bed.
Shhhhhhh!!
