Start washing it 2 - 3 times a day. Lather it up really good with a mild, non-deodorant soap. Put fragrance free lotion on it regularly. Once it heals get it retouched if necessary. Good luck.

everybody has different advice for tattoo aftercare but i have never been told to put nothing on it. i would advise you to leave it alone. don't pick the tattoo and just see what happens when it is healed. most of mine are finished healing by two weeks, give or take a few days. you may just have to go to another tattoo artist to get the tattoo fixed or covered. DEFINITELY the most important thing to do is to research a good artist first. i'm sorry you had a bad experience.

Yeah you need to keep washing it with a mild, fragrance free soap. Don't let it soak in hot water though! Apply fragrance and oil free lotion whenever it feels dry, and for Christ's sake don't pick at it!
