This is a cooker with a min of 6 hobs. Some also have griddles on the top as well. Well worth the investment if you have the space

Mine has 8 hobs, 2 large ovens and a grill. It's about twice as wide as a normal cooker.

I know you are not going to believe this, but I saw an ad for an imitation Aga range cooker made of polystyrene, and finished beautifully for "Yuppies" , it weighed all of 2 kilos, and could be installed by one man.

not necessarily a fixed size anymore its a type of stove usually one main oven and a small hot hold type oven underneath doesn't reach over 100 degrees they used to be mainly solid fuel but now you can get all types the top is usually split into 2 hot plates no naked flame only the burner if its solid fuel traditionally in farmhouses but very popular now in most houses original range was the aga very hard to get an original now and very expensive most popular now on the market would be the Stanley

weve got a leisure classic 110. 2 big ovens and 5 burners plus a hotplate... and a grill and 2 storage drawers.

its run off natural gas, but there are many fuel options... cost..well they aint cheap... but you can get S/H ones for under 500 quid.

agas and rayburns go for as little as 250 quid, and all you have to do is go get em. ebay is full of them being riped out of farmhouses, they can also run on red diesel (heating oil) the older solid fuel ones are a pain... very nice, but it can take an hour to warm up... and a few hours to cool down, great in winter, not so good in summer.

rayburns can also run your central heating.. and can run around 12 radiators...

its a big cooker simply, generally found in farm houses or big statley homes and cottages, it will have multiple cooking rings and two/three ovens and a warmer oven, to purchase are usually v.expensive for originals, they can be powered by multiple means, gas, solid fuel, etc.
