The ones pretending to be are usually the first to proclaim that atheism is a religion based on faith in evolution.

Surely no-one pretends to be an atheist? There is NOTHING to be gained by doing so that isn't equalled by the much easier and more socially acceptable (in the US, not in godless Europe) secularism or agnosticism.

Usually, the people pretending to be atheists enter into debate with theists, claiming that they have absolute proof of the non-existence of God. For the most part, these people are angry with their parents, and snarl a great deal.

Why would one pretend to be an atheist? And if they were, why would we really care? Unlike christians, we don't constantly get caught up in examining each other's lives to make sure that we're living "wrong" enough. If someone wishes to share their opinion on the non-existence of god, that's proof enough for me.

Like a troll on here? Eh, some of them use wording that makes it obvious they are not one of us. Unless one is particularly clever I often just get the sense they aren't what they say.

Be sceptical with atheist that still talk about hell and satan, that curse god or other deity. Real Atheist do not bother with those imaginary things

The funny thing is that not only do Christians accuse and have under suspect "poser" Christians or "not true" Christians,
But they suspect half of Atheists to be "poser" atheists who are just trying to look cool or are just "mad at God"..
