My mom never listens to me ever she uses the fact that I'm only fifteen against me. If i try telling her my opinion on something she is doing she will say " i wont have a fifteen year old tell me what to do." And then she gets so mad when i tri telling her that i dont like her smooking because its bad for her and worse for me, then she will say " im over 21 and i can do anything i f***ing want to do i dont have to listen to a child." and we fight all the time. Also when i was little my parents wold hit me every time i got in trouble.
I plan on saving my money and when i turn sixteen filing papers for a petition to be Emancipated.
Im a very responsible person i have good grades and plans for my future. I would live with a friend if i were to be emancipated.
And i am pretty sure that the judge would let me because of health problems ( bronchitis 3 times since june and Hyperventilation i think its due to my parents smooking)
Am i doin the right thing?
